Golfsixes "Fun, competitive, sociable – and it’s quick!"
GolfSixes is a professional golf tournament played in a ground-breaking format. Defending champions Jaidee and Phachara Khongwatmai of Thailand will return to represent Thailand along with players from Portugal, England, France, Ireland, Australia, Thailand, India, Italy, South Korea, South Africa, USA, Spain, Scotland and Sweden and will compete against each other for a prize fund of €1 million.
On this fast and fun six-hole tournament, the teams will play in a Greensomes format, selecting their best tee shot and then play alternate shot thereafter.
This is the year that the tournament returns to continental Europe for the second time, with the spectacular Oitavos Dunes set to host GolfSixes Cascais from May 7-10.

Mr. Hills is a Fellow and Past President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.
With over 50 years of experience, he is responsible for the design of more than 200 new golf courses around the world and has been called upon to refine or renovate more than 150 courses, including some of the most prestigious private clubs.
In November 2017, Mr. Hills was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association. That honor goes alongside other awards for Architect of the Year, “Best New Public Course” and “Best New Private Course” from Golf Digest as well as many “Top 10 You Can Play” designations from Golf Magazine for his skill in designing courses that are challenging yet playable for all golfers.
